01 / THE DEBT PAYOFF CALCULATOR

A payment today. A different timeline.

Explore the effect of paying a little more each month on a single fixed-rate debt.

YOUR NUMBERS, A CLEARER PICTURE

What could a different
payment change?

Illustration: fixed APR, monthly interest, no new charges or fees. Actual lender calculations vary.

How this works

Each month, the model adds interest at APR ÷ 12, then subtracts your fixed payment. The final payment is capped at the amount still owed. It compares the original payment with the original plus your extra amount.

What it leaves out

No fees, new charges, changing rates or daily interest. This is not a credit-card minimum-payment schedule. Results are rounded; your lender’s calculation may differ.

Make sure the payment fits your budget
